John Doryk
Composer
John William Doryk is an
award-winning television/film composer, who has been
creating original music and sound design for over 25
years. Classically trained in operatic voice, violin,
viola, and guitar, he started playing music at the age
of 5 and comes from a very musical family with a rich
Ukrainian heritage. From Ukrainian folk music to
classical, from rock to celtic, bluegrass, and world
music, John has explored and performed many different
styles throughout his musical career. He has had his
work aired on The Discovery Channel, Provident Films (a
division of Sony Pictures), PBS, NBC, BBC, FOX Network,
for Focus on the Family, Answers in Genesis Creation
Museum, Coral Ridge Media, and many independent feature
films. He currently resides in Colorado Springs,
Colorado with his wife and two children. John has served
as both composer and sound designer for Adventures in
Odyssey.
